Years of family medical emergencies have shaped my understanding of faith, patience, pain, the degeneration of the body, fear, courage and most of all compassion. This small E.P marks a composite journey from emergency, to treatment, to stabilisation.

All sounds were recorded in an A&E department, alchemically processed in Ableton and ultimately exorcized through the spirit of experimental electronics.

The album name comes from the medical ,Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) which is an acute immunoglobulin A (IgA)–mediated disorder. This was the most recent reason for the hospital visit. My sister, who was suffering form this, is on the road to recovery.
